    School of Accounting Jointly Held "AI-Empowered Undergraduate Talent Cultivation" Special Seminar with Deloitte and Kingdee

    At 9:30am on April 3, 2025, the School jointly held a special seminar on "AI-Empowered Undergraduate Talent Cultivation" with Deloitte and Kingdee. The seminar invited Professor Zhang Tianyu, Presidential Chair Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Distinguished Academic Dean of the School of Accounting at Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Jin Ke, Lead Partner of Audit and Assurance Innovation, Data Analytics and AI in Deloitte Asia Pacific, and Chen Yue, General Manager of Kingdee Jingyi Information Technology Service Co., Ltd. Dean Tang Xuesong of the School and relevant teachers from the School's Big Data Center and Case Center also attended the meeting to jointly discuss the application of artificial intelligence in the field of education. This meeting was chaired by Yi Yang, the Vice Dean of Teaching of the School.


    Chen Yue first introduced Kingdee's innovation in promoting financial applications using AI technology. By encapsulating existing ERP services through AI native technology and MCP protocol, and its application in the teaching field, the company aims to achieve corporate digital transformation and talent cultivation goals. Professor Zhang Tianyu shared the successful experience of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in the educational application of AI technology. Jin Ke, from the perspective of enterprises, explored the application potential of AI technology in financial digital supervision. Subsequently, the meeting carried out in-depth discussions around a number of cutting-edge and highly practical topics. These topics covered digital supervision of intelligent finance and the application of AI technology, the application and challenges of AI in the financial and teaching fields, the practice of AI Agents in the educational field, the integration of online education and AI, the combination of teaching applications and industries, knowledge management of AI big data, and the application of large models in financial analysis. Finally, Dean Tang Xuesong emphasized the importance of AI technology in accounting education and proposed the necessity of promoting the digital transformation of education through AI technology.


    The meeting ultimately reached a consensus that the application of AI technology in the field of education has broad prospects, especially in the digital supervision of intelligent finance. The attending experts and teachers put forward a series of action plans, including strengthening the applied research of AI technology in the educational field, promoting the application of AI technology in the educational field, and strengthening cooperation with relevant enterprises and institutions. This seminar not only provided valuable ideas and directions for the application of AI technology in the educational field, but also provided new impetus for the digital transformation of the School of Accounting at Southwest University of Finance and Economics and even the entire education industry. Everyone agreed that with the continuous development of AI technology, the educational field will welcome a more intelligent and personalized new era.
